Youth and Lost Dreams

Another Controversial Issue
Youth and Lost Dreams

We, as society have fail to maintain the way of life
that characterized the mid XXth Century.

Not only we stagnate ourselves, but we did it
to our children also.

The route society has taken, is plainly wrong,
we work 40 hours a week, do not save money for
our retirement and ended up relying on Social Security
with an amount of money barely making enough
to either pay the rent or buy food.

What happened? Did anyone was looking? The watchdog
was slept? As everybody was occupied with
the many wars, the government apparatus was leaving
all drown into oblivion.

Too many years on Congress make the congressmen too
powerful and looking for themselves, not for the people
they represent. The fight for power is nasty and they care
more for maintaining their post and enacting draconian
laws that affect everybody but, themselves. They
should be working for the welfare of all the constituents
of their state not only for those that make them
permanently members of Congress.
Members of Congress must have term limits, even though
there are some that do the best to save the country.
Most, try to destroy it.

Some examples:
IRS, needs to be replaced by a fix tax with no refunds.
Education needs to disappear, this function
is the job of the states which must be the
watchdog of the cities that in last instance
are the ones that provide the education.
Fed out of the education.
Fire the NEA and the states teachers unions.
Like the CTA, they own the states government.
They are the cancer of education.
They serve no other purpose than their own.

It is the job of the states also, the build and
maintenance of roads and infrastructure.

The functions of the federal government are
to be the watchdog, the defense of the country,
inside and outside, provide help in case of catastrophes,
oversee the macro economy, provide liberty
for the individual to allow him to research and develop
new technology in his garage.

As usual I use the generic for both sexes.

Laws are to be enacted for the benefit of all
the population not only of a sector.
The law is applicable to all not only to the population,
excepting the congressmen themselves.

Salaries are the states job, not the federal.
Taxes are not to be imposed every time
the government state or federal wants money.
The government must invest part of the money
received to make cash overnight, this way,
the taxpayer wallet, is not made the government wallet.

The government is a corporation, let’s make it work as one.
Otherwise, the American Dream is gone for ever.

One of the laws needed is, a law that takes 10%
of whatever all population makes, payable with
the sales tax and, invest it to grow, that will
serve to provide retirement outside of Social Security
which will eventually be replaced.
Kind of Social Security, without the government’s Ponzi
Scheme.

Something good will come from this, an ID at the national
level, that will track the savings of all citizens, even the
homeless and serve as voter ID and ID for everything else.

The cities should open an office for part time workers,
that provide job to any person seeking to work, even
cleaning the streets or parks, providing some money
for the destitute.

The streets are dirty most of the time, so, a little help
is needed, this way even the homeless will increase their
account.
Some homeless are very intelligent and have college degrees.

Let’s give them a hand. The cities will grow up a pool of
great individuals that possibly will make business’ that
employ the same homeless people and the problem solve itself.

Stop the witch hunt for the hoax climate change.
Stop putting computers to control the motors in
the vehicles, it will became a liability in case of
an EMP from nature or man-made.
Use computers for comfort: lights, ac temp control,
seats, doors, etc.

Let’s start thinking by ourselves, stop the politicians
telling us what to do and how to do it.
We The People have the capacity to think and see
what is better for us.

Congress has lost the way. They are not the voice of
the People anymore they are the voice for themselves.
Let’s show them who is in charge let’s vote them out
of office.

We must rebuild the younger generations Dreams.

This is my Point of View.

This time you can make it viral.

‘til next time,
