The way Ben Franklin Say “We give you a Republic if you can Keep it” is an ominous future warning, that we now are call to answer, can we keep it?
Yes, the Framers had to make a concession to the South in order to pass the Constitution. The slave drivers still can have them but, did they know that the days of owning slaves were over?
The Framers knew that in the near future someone will rise and end the slave trade; the declaration was imbedded in The Declaration Of Independence, it was put in there for all to see but, only one will look at it with a different Light, yes, the one that look at it was no other than ABE LINCOLN The Emancipator.
Was anybody else looking at it? Or they were just seen, without looking?
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”
The declaration is not ambiguous it stands that all men ARE CREATED EQUAL, it doesn’t say “white, black, brown, yellow, red, olive, etc. It says ALL MEN; no colors, no races (there is only one Human Race) so, are we at this time and place a WHOLE BUNCH OF IDIOTS?
The Republic that was handed to our ancestors was not perfect but, it was something to be made the closest thing to perfection so, it was provided with the most advanced Constitution on the World, a Bill Of Rights, and an effective mechanism to test for error and the correction of them.
And, They based the Constitution on the most advanced philosophical concepts of human interaction.
Let us study, The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America, not as a simple paper coming in the mail but, as it was intended to be read, a Philosophical Document that says more than the words imprinted on them.
There is an omission, that I believe no one thought about it, because they were an homogeneous group, they pass a declaration that at their time was not important but , now it is. The Official Language of the United States. An omission? or, was it let out on purpose? To be done in the future.
The de facto language is English but, The Constitution is missing this line in the Articles of the Government reaches and stops on its deal with the governed: “The Official Language of the United States Of America is English.” Not more, not less.
